At the time of scheduling, you can select from the various professionals in the specialty you chose and who operate in the geographic area of your CAMV.
By defining your geographic area of operation, you are limiting the CAMVs that can select you.
Yes, both the veterinarian and the clinic can cancel, and all parties involved are notified immediately.
When the specialized veterinarian completes the clinical case and uploads the report, the platform automatically sends it to the clinic. In addition, you can manage the entire clinical process through the various functionalities available on the platform.
For now, SpecialVet is free for all members. In the future, a fee will be charged for each appointment made through the platform.
The SpecialVet platform, in Portugal, currently only requires that the Specialized Veterinarian has an active professional license from the OMV. The responsibility for the experience and certifications presented on the platform is the veterinarian's own, and these will serve as a criterion for comparative analysis by the clinics, which may or may not select them for service provision. In countries where specialties are regulated, SpecialVet adapts to local requirements.
The SpecialVet platform currently only requires that the CAMV is registered as such under DECREE-LAW Nº 184/2009, of August 11, in the DGAV listings, and has an associated NIF/NIPC.

By using the SpecialVet platform, the user accepts and agrees to these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all veterinary clinics (CAMV's), veterinary specialists, and other users who submit information, profiles, or use the services offered by the platform.
Each user is entirely responsible for the veracity, accuracy, and updating of the data submitted to the SpecialVet platform, whether in the clinic (CAMV) or veterinary profile. SpecialVet is not responsible for the inaccuracy or falsity of the information provided by users.
SpecialVet reserves the right to accept or reject registrations from clinics (CAMV's) or veterinary specialists, without the need to justify its decision. All submitted registrations are subject to analysis and approval by the SpecialVet team, according to internal criteria, and may be refused based on this evaluation.
The SpecialVet platform acts as an intermediary between veterinary clinics and specialized veterinarians, facilitating communication and service scheduling. SpecialVet is not responsible for the provision of clinical services, which is the sole responsibility of the parties involved (CAMV's and veterinarians).
All content on the SpecialVet platform (including texts, images, graphics, and functionalities) is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. SpecialVet is a registered trademark and property of Creative Carbon, Lda. Unauthorized use of this content or trademark, without prior consent from Creative Carbon, Lda, is prohibited.
SpecialVet reserves the right to change the Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated through the platform, and the continued use of the platform will imply acceptance of the new conditions.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute related to the use of the platform will be submitted to the competent courts of the District of Lisbon.
SpecialVet, a registered trademark and property of Creative Carbon, Lda, collects and processes personal data from users (such as name, e-mail, address, and professional data) with the aim of facilitating communication between veterinary clinics (CAMV’s) and specialized veterinarians. The data provided is used exclusively for platform management and to facilitate the provision of offered services.
The personal data collected is used to verify and manage user profiles, facilitate contact between parties (clinics and specialists), and improve platform operation. SpecialVet commits not to share personal data with third parties without the explicit consent of users, except when required by law.
Users have the right to access, correct, update, or delete their personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, users must contact the SpecialVet team via the support email provided on the platform.
SpecialVet adopts appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction. Although SpecialVet takes reasonable precautions to ensure data security, information transmission via the internet is never fully secure, and the platform cannot guarantee the absolute security of transmitted data.
